How to Identify honest and transparent leaders in Kenya.
To, All Kenyans.
RE: WHERE TO FIND HONEST, TRANSPARENT, HUMANE LEADERS FOR KENYA:
In their struggles to have good, honest, transparent and humane leaders for Kenya, the Kenyan people have always emphasized for the learned, the wealthy and those with long political experiences. Unfortunately, that has not worked well for Kenyans. Looting of the Public funds by the learned, the wealthy and the politically experienced individuals in leadership positions in Kenya today, is as common as has ever been before. Salary increment for the Members of the Kenya Parliament has become the most popular agenda in the Kenya Parliament and in the minds of the Members of Parliament, thus placing them the most highly paid legislatures in Africa. The wealthy, the learned and the politically experienced have not made any difference in the Kenya leadership.
In the well democratically established wealthy nations in the west, where admirable competent constitutions are well guarded by checks and balances, candidates aspiring for political positions are mandated to undergo a background check before heading to the ballot. In every election in those Nations, learned and wealthy individuals who emerge as candidates, are never spared the wrath of the background check. All the candidates undergo a background check. Why are the learned and the wealthy candidates treated with a background check in those wealthy Nations which have wonderful constitutions?
For Kenya to find good, honest, transparent and Humane leaders, a background check is paramount important. The history of the would be leaders should be explored from their childhood. This history is found from neighbors, schools, colleges, residence and the work venues, churches and mosques. Immediately one declares candidature, the immediate neighbors should be contacted to provide some history of the would be leader. Teachers and former classmates should be traced to explain the would be leaders conduct and behavior in school. The neighbors of their parents may be consulted in order to establish their general character while young. Current neighbors should also be contacted in order to get both the behavior and the pr oven abilities of leadership of the would be leaders. A venue should be established, where any one with information of any incidences or an incidence of malpractice by a would be leader, should be reported for verification.
This is the only way, thieves, murderers, con-men and the political opportunists, can be prevented from ascending to leadership positions in Kenya. A good constitution should be supported by the election of upright individuals in positions of leadership. After doing so, Kenya will emerge a prosperous and a peaceful Nation, happy and comfortable for all Kenyans..
